Description

There was shooting in Omoku town, the capital of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, over Supreme Court’s verdict that upheld the election of Rivers State governorship election to PDP.

According to CWC tracker, the shooting staring at about 7pm in the evening of Wednesday 27th January 2016 when the people were jubilating over the court decision of the election.

In the process of the shooting, one person was seriously injured but no life was lost. The gunmen are suspected to be members of APC according to our CWC tracker.
