There is uproar and anger in Calabar over the state government’s introduction of N6000 annual carbon emission levy on residents.

But the development is generating anger. Most of the respondents, who spoke to our reporter on the matter, dared the Carbon Emissions Board to take them to court as they would not have anything to do with any other form of levy except the taxes they are currently paying.
