The Commissioner of Police, Abia State, Mr Leye Oyebade, has maintained that police in the state would not tolerate disruption of peace and order by IPOB and MASSOB, warning that there cannot be a republic in a republic.

The commissioner gave the charge while briefing the press on the preparedness of the police in ensuring peace in the ‘Ember ‘months and to ensure that people coming home for the Christmas and New Year celebrations celebrate in an atmosphere devoid of violence and crime.
