A corps member, Michael Osaretin, has donated school uniforms to the pupils of Ogbe High School, in Oda community, Ondo State.

Osaretin who also erected a signpost for the secondary school, also sunk boreholes for two communities in the Local Government Area.

He said the projects were part of his community development project and also to contribute his own quota to the development of the rural communities as a way of giving back to the communities around his place of his primary assignment.

He said, “Before I came for service, I always see corps members doing projects, when I came here, I met the traditional ruler, I saw this place and felt it is extra work to give back to the community. I am happy my dream came to reality.”

The state governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, who expressed his delight to the gesture of the corps member, said Osaretin had demonstrated passion to the well-being of humanity and advancement towards the educational system.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education Science and Technology, Mrs Lola Amuda, the governor said the projects would add appreciable value to the lives of the pupils and the entire communities where the projects were sited.
