Kidnappers Yet To Free Jonathan’s Cousin in Bayelsa State

More than a week after the abduction of Mr Jephthah Robert Yekorogha, a cousin to former President Goodluck Jonathan, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, on Monday, January 24, the kidnappers are yet to free the politician.

A family source who declined to be named, told Daily Trust that the abductors were yet to contact the family.

A younger brother of the abductee and founder of Zeetin Engineering Company, Mr Aziboala Robert, in a statement confirming the abduction, said the situation was receiving maximum attention by security agencies.

When contacted, the police spokesman in the state, SP Asinim Butswat, told Daily Trust that operatives of the command were still investigating the incident to get the victim freed and apprehend the culprits.
