Hit-and-run armed robbers kill vigilante while fleeing crime scene in Delta State

Description
A member of the Udu Central Vigilante Team “A”, Mr Michael Igho Sodje was today buried in Ogbe-Udu in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.He was buried by his family, church and members of the Udu Central Vigilante amidst tears.
A member of the vigilante group, Comrade Ighotegwolor Bezi described his colleague’s death as a big loss.
He however prayed to God Almighty to grant the deceased family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
It was learnt that the deceased died on the spot after he was knocked down by suspected armed robbers who were escaping from being arrested along Ekete-Inland junction on January 28, 2022.
The deceased left behind five children, four boys and a girl, and a wife.
