The Delta State Police Command has refuted claims that one Dr. Uyi Iluobe was killed by relatives of a patient, at his hospital in Oghara.

it waw gathered that Iluobe was murdered on December 31, 2022, with the Nigerian Medical Association claiming that the doctor was killed by the relatives of a late patient.

But in a statement on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer for the state command, Bright Edafe, noted that the act was carried out by suspected cultists.

On his Twitter page, Edafe revealed that the NMA visited the state Commissioner of Police, Ari Alli, concerning Iluobe’s murder.
