No fewer than five (5) persons were injured, on Thursday, when a twin explosion rocked a rally of the All Progressiives Congress at the Rumuwoji Playground in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Two of those injured are women, all of whom were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

The Governorship Candidate of the APC in Rivers State, Arc. (Pst) Tonye Cole also gave his own account, narrating the incident as uncalled for. In a video he shared on Facebook, his countenance showed how bad he felt about the whole situation and called the government to look into the matter to safeguard our electioneering campaign environment.
