The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has expelled the embattled newly elected Minority Leader and member representing Akuku-Toru Constituency 1, in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Frederick Benibo Anabraba for alleged anti-party activities.

APC lawmakers in the House had protested the nomination and election of Anabraba by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)- controlled House, against their choice of the member representing Eleme Constituency in the House, Hon. Josiah John Olu.
