Presidential campaign train of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Edo state, met a stiff resistance from supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, on Thursday in Benin, the state capital.

The APC campaign team, ably led by a former two-time Governor of the state, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, was chased out of Ring Road, the venue of the rally by a huge crowd who apparently were supporters of the LP candidate.

Oshiomhole who is the Edo North senatorial candidate in the 25 February general election, was in company of other chieftains of the party, including the Edo South senatorial candidate of the party, Valentine Asuen.
