There are ongoing protests in Rumuosi along the Ozuoba – Choba Road and Old Aba Road in Obio-Akpor LGA, Rivers State, over banks’ rejection of old naira notes and the scarcity of the new naira notes. The protesters barricaded the road.
The PLSO will provide situational updates where available. IPs should remain in close contact with their nominated SFPs for further instructions (as required) and you must continue to monitor local media and news reports.
