The Delta State Police Command acting on intelligence, have rescued two kidnapped victims in Orogun, a community in Delta State.

This was made known in a statement shared by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe on X.com on Sunday.

He wrote, “Delta State Police Command on 26th April 2024, successfully rescued two kidnapped victims in Orogun, one of the suspected kidnappers died due to injuries sustained during the gun duel.

“Eagle Net, Owvian Aladja division also arrested a suspected armed robber and recovered one English-made Berretta pistol.

“The CP Delta State CP Abaniwonda has promised Deltans that during his time as Commissioner of Police Delta State, Deltans will sleep with their two eyes closed.”
