Unknown gunmen were on shooting spree over the weekend killing at least four persons in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, according to PM News.
The incident suspected to be a cult clash occurred along Eastern-Bypass area of Marine Base, Port Harcourt. It was gathered that the assailants, suspected to be members of a cult group, invaded a restaurant close to the bridge along the road and shot dead four persons, while others sustained bullet wounds.

Analysis: The trend that seems to unraveling with this incident seems to be connected to the alleged killing of a cult leader named Abraham on the 14th of February in Port Harcourt. CWC analysis had predicted after that incident was reported that reprisal attacks should be expected, and that such attacks may also have the colourations of pre-election party related conflict.
